Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer famous for his distinctive mix of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. Her career path has taken her from Broadway to European events and clubs, up to at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine has the name Denise White. Although she lives in Atlanta her birthplace was Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical path began at church, where she sang as well as was a pianist. In Atlanta she went to Spellman College where her musical training began on Atlanta's R&B Scene. Sunshine was the subject of national media interest during four consecutive performances at the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was then invited to sing at the inauguration of President Obama in 2009.
